| When the game begins, Captain Olimar is in
bad shape. No ride, no money and no friends. Luckily, his ship has crash-landed
on a planet inhabited by Pikmin. The plantlike creatures appear to be cute
and harmless, but Olimar learns that they're strong in large numbers and
ready to fight! Soon, Olimar has a huge posse of Pikmin pals.
LEAF PIKMIN
Pikmin grow from the ground, planted by seeds.
When it sprouts, Olimar can pluck them. Newly sprouted Pikmin are ready
to work.
BUD PIKMIN
Power up your Pikmin! If a pikmin is left in
the ground, it will eventually form into a bud, then into a flower.
FLOWER PIKMIN
Flower Pikmin are tottaly buff! Any Pikmin who
eats a glob of honey or who gets left in the ground forms into a flower
Pikmin.
*FLOWER PIKMIN ARE STRONGER AND FASTER THAN
LESSER PIKMIN. DON'T LET THE PEACEFUL DAISY FOOL YOU- THOSE PETALS PACK
QUITE A PUNCH!
BLUE PIKMIN
Blue Pikmin are strong allies. They're the only
ones who can survive in water, which gives them access to other areas that
yellow or red Pikmin cannot.
RED PIKMIN
Red pikmin are the ultimate firefighters. They
can pass through flames whith the greatest of ease. Spicy!
YELLOW PIKMIN
Captian Olimar can throw yellow Pikmin much higher
than other Pikmin. They also have a thing for bomb rocks. |
